The Côtes du Rhône touristic routes: The area of the “Côtes du Rhône” designation of origin is criss-crossed by nine wine routes. Four of these go through vineyards in Vaucluse, and each one is defined by a color: sky blue, sepia brown, indigo blue or turquoise. The four routes go through the wine-growing villages of Beaumes-de-Venise, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, or Visan, and group together more than 300 wine growers. There is a guide for each route, featuring a map, tourist landmarks, accommodation and restaurant facilities, and of course the addresses of all cellars that are open to the public, in particular members of the “Côtes du Rhône, terroir d’accueil” quality plan .
