Haut-Vaucluse/Cairanne
A short walk to open up the appetite
The circuit starts in the village and wends around the vineyards. It takes only thirty minutes to discover and recognize the main grape varieties of the Cairanne appelation: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Cinsaut.

Avignon/Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Castel Papal walking trail
The walk leads to the historic site of the former Papal summer residence and into a highly gastronomic area. The walker will discover a landscape of pebbles and grapevines while crossing the Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards. Cross the D 17 road and continue on to the Rhone river. The river gives the Castel Papal land a very specific flora and fauna. The 16-km loop, which starts and ends at the Papal Palace, has brown markers.
Level of difficulty: Easy.
Plan on about 4 hours of walking.

Luberon/Cucuron
Cucuron wine-growers’ trail
Strollers and hikers set out from the wine cooperative parking lot, with informative leaflet in hand, to discover the Curcuron grape-growing area over the centuries. Two circuits (one 3.5 km long, the other, 4km) follow district roads and lanes. Follow the direction signs (stencil in the shape of a stylized bunch of grapes). The leaflet is available at the Cucuron Tourist Office, at the “Maison du Parc du Luberon” in Apt, and at the Syndicat des Côtes du Luberon at La Tour d'Aigues.

Luberon/Oppède
Oppède’s vineyard trail
An invitation to discover the “Côtes du Luberon” A.O.C. designation of origin. The circuit is a fully-marked, 5-km loop. It explains soil types, grape varieties, table grapes, and the wine-making process, ending with a description of the Oppède cellars. Oppède le Vieux. Departure from the Terrasses de Ste Cécile parking lot.
